Do I need technical experience to set up Moodle?
No. Your Moodle site is automatically installed and configured for you. Once deployment is complete, you’ll receive an email that takes you through setting your password and accessing your new LMS.
How fast will my LMS be launched?
Most Moodle sites are automatically provisioned within a few minutes after your order is completed. Our system creates your cloud server, installs Moodle, configures your domain and SSL security, and prepares your administrator account automatically. In some cases, DNS or SSL activation may take a little longer, but you can follow the deployment progress directly from your account dashboard.
Can I upgrade or change plans later?
Yes. Your Moodle environment is hosted on its own cloud server, which gives us flexibility to increase resources as your organization grows. If you need more users, storage, performance, or additional services, contact us and we can help determine the right upgrade path.
Can I use my own domain?
Custom domains can be supported. Your LMS initially launches on a secure web address provided through our platform, such as yourcompany.mobiuslearning.com. If you would like to use your own domain or subdomain, such as training.yourcompany.com, contact us and we can help configure it.
Is my data secure?
Yes. Each LMS is deployed in its own cloud environment and protected with HTTPS/SSL encryption. Administrator passwords are established through Moodle’s secure password-reset process rather than being sent by email, and temporary provisioning credentials are removed after deployment is complete. We also use established cloud and email infrastructure, including DigitalOcean and Amazon SES, as part of the platform.
What kind of support do you provide?
We provide support for your hosted Moodle environment, including account access, hosting-related issues, Moodle configuration, deployment questions, and general technical assistance. If you need help, you can contact our support team directly from your customer dashboard.
For more advanced Moodle development, integrations, customizations, or course-development services, we can also provide additional professional services as needed.
What happens after I purchase?
Your LMS begins provisioning automatically. You can log into your account to watch the deployment move through Server, Moodle Installation, DNS & SSL, and Ready. Once the site is complete, you’ll receive an email with a link to access your LMS and securely set your administrator password.
