Mobius One is designed to make getting started with Moodle simple. Here are answers to the questions we hear most often.

Do I need technical experience to set up Mobius One?

No. Möbius manages the Moodle installation, hosting, infrastructure, maintenance, security, and platform updates for you. You can focus on building your Classroom, adding content, and preparing your learning experience.

What is Free Setup Mode?

Free Setup Mode gives you one private Classroom, 2 GB of setup storage, and no live learners so you can build and explore your Classroom before purchasing a subscription.

There is no expiration while the Classroom remains active. Invitations, join codes, and live learner access become available when you activate a paid Mobius One plan.

Can I upgrade after I build my Classroom?

Yes. When you're ready to begin teaching, you can activate Mobius One starting at $249 per year. The base plan includes one active Classroom, 20 learners, and 20 GB of organization storage.

You can later add Classroom capacity and learner blocks as your program grows.

Is my Classroom and learner data secure?

Yes. Mobius One is a managed platform with protected access, automated backups, infrastructure monitoring, tenant separation, and security controls designed to keep each organization's Classroom environment isolated from others.

Can I use my own domain with Mobius One?

Mobius One uses a Möbius-managed Classroom address so we can keep setup simple and the platform fully managed.

If you need a custom domain, deeper branding, or a more independent LMS environment, our larger managed LMS and custom solutions are a better fit.

What happens after I start my free Classroom?

You'll create your Möbius account and organization, name your Classroom, verify your email, and then Möbius provisions the Classroom for you.

Once it is ready, you can open the Classroom as the instructor, begin adding content, configure activities, and prepare everything before inviting learners.

Can I move beyond Mobius One later?

Absolutely. Mobius One is designed as the starting point in the Möbius product family. As your needs become larger or more complex, you can move into Launch, Flight, Orbit, or a custom managed LMS solution.
